Why NFL Players Choose to Get Adjusted

Have you ever watched a NFL game where there wasn’t major hits, injuries and all-around carnage?   America loves football, it’s what many people live for on Sunday afternoons.  There are some new developments going on with the NFL sidelines.  Did you know there are Chiropractors on just about every NFL teams sidelines? They are as essential as athletic trainers are for the players health.

Why are teams choosing to have back doctors on the sidelines?  It’ simple, acute injuries are easily corrected if they are addressed early enough.  I was personally watching a Vikings game this season and watching the Doctor of Chiropractic adjusting many of the players in the middle of the game.  A great way to avoid sports injuries as an athlete is to take care of your frame.  Thomas Edison was quoted saying

“The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will interest her or his patients in the care of the human frame, in a proper diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease.”
Thomas A. Edison

This is the definition of getting back to health care basics.  The simplicity of addressing ailments of the human body by looking to the human frame is genius.  As we watch the NFL playoffs over the next few weeks, it’s important to think about your local Chiropractors role with treating sports injuries.  Do not hesitate to get checked if you have been involved in any slips, falls or collisions.  You don’t have to be an NFL star to need a chiropractor.  As a Kirkland chiropractor I treat local race car drivers, golfers and gymnasts but I also treat soccer moms with sore ankles after walking.  No matter who you are you may benefit from the beauty and the simplicity of chiropractic care.
